  Customer Service is More Than a Mission Statement  
 

Our brand represents lots of things to many people – freedom, innovation, & change to name a few – but it is also well reputed for something often over promised and under delivered – strong customer service.  This is something that is often easy for companies to claim, but we actually back it up with a real commitment that is constantly complimented by our users, dealers and sales force. 

The reason this works is cultural, but the backbone of this service oriented culture is our people.  Our service team in Portland often does not get the credit they deserve for making the business work, but they are the epicenter and the real reason ICS has grown and thrived.  As a point of reference, our Portland call center receives 120-150 calls per day and over 95% of our shipments go out the same or next day, often called in late in that day.  No statement I can write forces this to happen, as our team genuinely bleeds customer service and will jump through the crazy hoops the construction market often demands.  So, if you have read this and happen to call in, the picture below gives you some idea of a few of the faces and names that make it go.
